There are many misconceptions about buying your Volkswagen from a big city dealer like Houston, TX. Local dealers hear it all the time “we will take the drive to Houston, TX.” We understand why customers may think this is the best option. But, first, let us go over some of the misconceptions. 1. Better Price: This is the biggest misconception from customers. It is common to think that just because they are a more prominent dealership and sell more cars, they can sell them cheaper. Often, someone may feel because they have more inventory, they paid less from the manufacturer to get them. All dealerships pay the same for the inventory. Local dealers want your business, and many times, you will get much better customer satisfaction from your local dealer in the long run. Local dealers realize they have to take care of their customer base to keep them coming back. Big areas like Houston have many customers coming in each day, and they are less likely to give you the same customer care a local dealer is willing to give. 2. More Inventory: While this is true that they may have more inventory than your local dealer, it is not exactly true that they have what you are looking for. Your local dealer has access to other dealer’s inventory. Often, it is much easier to go to your local dealer let them know what you are looking for, and if the car is out there, they can have it for you within a day or two. This will save you much more time than getting in your vehicle, driving almost two hours, and spending the day away from home. 3. They want to sell more: People may think because they are a bigger dealership that they are more willing to sell you. This is not always true. Your local dealership sees fewer customers daily than a big area dealer like Houston. So your local dealership is much more likely to take the time and make sure you have a great experience. I understand that every customer wants to make sure they are getting the best deal for their money. People work very hard for their money and want to make sure it is spent wisely. Do your research and make sure you are getting a good deal. Bring the research with you when you come into the dealership, and you will be surprised how much your College Station and Bryan, TX dealer is willing to work with you.
